Lemon II is the sequel to the novel Lemon (written by Zhang Guan, published in 2016), also the author's sixth novel. The Chinese edition of the book was published in 2020.

The main characters in Lemon and Lemon II are the same. They are three young men Xiao Yang, Lu Ran and A Fei who respectively enjoy writing, painting and singing and girls Wen Jing, Zi Shan and also Xiao Hui. The story is about struggle and emotion among them.

The themes of Lemon and Lemon II are the same. They discuss the struggle and contradiction between reality and dream. Lemon is a dream, however, Lemon II comes back to reality.
